BOX CONTENTS: Two strip tests, individually wrapped. To perform the urinary infection test, you also need a clean and dry container for collecting the urine sample and a watch.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Collecting the urine sample - Collect the fresh urine in a clean and dry container.
2. Testing the urine sample - Remove the test from the individual packaging without touching the test fields. Insert the test into the urine sample so that the 4 test fields are completely submerged for one second. Remove the test from the urine and remove the excess urine from the edge of the container and place the test horizontally with the test fields up.
3. Reading the results - Wait 60 seconds and read the results for nitrites, proteins and blood (erythrocytes and hemoglobin). The result for leukocytes can be read in 2 minutes. Read the test result by comparing the colors of the test fields with those in the color chart on the test envelope. Read the result for each parameter separately. Color changes that appear after more than 2 minutes have no diagnostic value.
INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULT
Leukocyte negative: The leukocyte test field remains yellow-white, as it appears in the negative column of the color chart on the test envelope.
Positive for leukocytes: Any shade of purple in the test field represents a positive result, which means that leukocytes were detected in the urine in a significant amount. The result that corresponds to the color diagram marked with ± means that leukocytes were found in the urine in a small amount. This result becomes significant if it occurs repeatedly.
Nitrite Negative: The nitrite test field remains yellow-white, as it appears in the negative column of the color chart on the test envelope.
Positive for nitrites: Any shade of pink in the test field represents a positive result, which means that significant amounts of nitrites have been detected in the urine. Pink spots or pink edges of the test field should not be interpreted as a positive result. The shade of color is not proportional to the number of bacteria present.
Protein negative: The protein test field remains yellow-green as shown in the negative column of the color chart on the test envelope.
Positive for protein: Any shade of green in the test field represents a positive result, which means that protein has been detected in the urine in a significant amount. The result that corresponds to the color diagram marked with ± means that proteins were found in the urine in a small amount and in certain cases this result can be significant from a clinical point of view.
Negative for blood: The test field for blood remains orange, as it appears in the negative column of the color chart on the test envelope.
Positive for blood: The appearance of green spots on the test field that corresponds to the value marked with Intact Erythrocytes in the color table or the test field is uniformly green (hemoglobin/myoglobin), indicates a positive result and requires further analysis
- 99% accuracy.
