Infat Care SRL, as administrator of the Infant.ro site, respects the security of information provided by users, including personal data.

Infat Care SRL complies with Romanian and European legislation in force in the field of personal data protection and collects personal data only for the purposes determined below:

The purpose of collecting personal data is the sale of products on Infant.ro (with all related activities such as order processing, payment, invoicing, etc.), customer relations services and marketing activities for Infant.ro's own needs.

The legal grounds for processing this data are:

a) Execution of the contract and the preliminary steps for this contract (art. 6 (1) b GDPR) – for the data collected through the account, the order form or the data received as a result of customer relations services;
b) Legal obligations (art. 6 (1) c GDPR) for the data required for invoicing
c) Legitimate interest (art. 6 (1) f GDPR and law 506/2004 art. 12 (2) ) for the data used for marketing to current customers, the security of the own website and the data used for the optimization of the own website.
d) Consent (art. 6 (1) of the GDPR) for the data used for marketing to website visitors (e.g. subscription to the newsletter, sending of SMS for marketing purposes, marketing cookies, etc.).

2. What personal data we collect and who has access to your data.

Infat Care SRL processes information and personal data from its users in three ways: directly from the user, from traffic reports and through cookies.

2.1. Personal data collected directly

When you access Infant.ro or when you create an account or place an order we may ask for your name, surname, email address, full postal address and telephone number as well as other data necessary for contracting or invoicing, if applicable.

These data are kept for a maximum period of 3 years from the last interaction with the Infant.ro account (account login or purchase).

The data from the invoices are kept for a period of 10 years, having a legal fiscal obligation in this regard.

If you do not give us this data, we will be unable to fulfill your order.

The legal basis for the processing is provided in art 1 a) or b), as the case may be.

Also, when you access customer support services, we may ask you for an email address or telephone number for direct communication. This data is kept for a period of 5 years to resolve customer issues.

These data are used for the purpose of contacting you, establishing the data necessary for the contract or invoicing, or the contact person and/or to resolve a complaint/request of yours.

We may also request other data that may constitute personal data only to the extent necessary for these purposes. The legal basis for the processing is provided in art 1 a).

Also, when you subscribe to our newsletter, please give us an email address, as well as a name, as well as other information necessary to personalize the communication to you.

If you subscribe to text (SMS) notifications, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages to the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Answer STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for help. Text and data rates may apply depending on your plan.

The legal basis for the processing is provided in art 1 c) or d), as the case may be.

This data is kept until you withdraw your consent or until your activity shows us that you are no longer interested in our communication.

When you make an online payment . All payments are processed by our partners Netopia Mobilpay.ro, so that banking information is sent directly to them during the purchase process and is not collected or processed by Infat Care SRL Its personal data processing policies are available on the websites own.

2.2. Information provided automatically from the server traffic report.

When you visit a website, regardless of the device used, you disclose certain information about yourself, such as your IP address, the time of your visit, where you entered our websites, the pages you visited. Infant.ro, like other operators, records this information for a certain period of time. Infant.ro uses external traffic analysis services, such as Google Analytics.

These data are used exclusively by Infant.ro to improve our website and products, but also to ensure the security of our website.

Under no circumstances does Infant.ro use traffic data to identify people behind IP addresses.

Infant.ro may use cookies to facilitate the storage and tracking of your preferences, but also to optimize our sites, including personalization, or for marketing.

6. Who has access to your information

Infant.ro may transmit or allow access to this data to third-party companies (called agents or authorized persons) for the purposes mentioned above, such as:

• E-commerce platform provider
• IT service providers for the Infant.ro platform
• Payment processor
• Marketing companies (including newsletter)
• Affiliate systems
• Traffic analysis, as detailed within this document.

These companies have the obligation to use this data safely and exclusively for the purposes specified by Infant.ro. They only have access to the personal data strictly necessary to provide the service established by Infant.ro and cannot use the personal data for their own purposes.

All the proxies we work with are part of the European Union, and those from the United States are enrolled in the United States – European Union Privacy Shield program.

Due to obligations of confidentiality, security and protection of commercial interests, we prefer not to publish the exact name of these third parties, but only with categories of proxy.
