For regurgitation of standard milk formula: you can use formula to reduce regurgitation or Nutriton.
If your baby drinks standard milk formula and regurgitates, an alternative would be a formula specially developed to reduce regurgitation, such as Aptamil AR. This formula contains carob flour as a thickening agent. The formula for reducing regurgitation must be used as directed by the doctor. Important indications: Instant product. Always prepare the milk right before the meal and feed the infant within a maximum of 1 hour after preparation. 2. Pour into a large baby bottle the amount of expressed milk (brought to approximately 37 degrees C) required for one meal and add the required amount of Nutriton powder.
3. To 100 ml of breast milk, add a grated measure (1.7g) of Nutriton.
4. Close the bottle. Immediately after that, hold the closed bottle vertically between your palms and roll it strongly for 5 seconds. The time between adding the powder and rolling the bottle should be as short as possible. 5. Shake the bottle for 20 seconds. Let the milk sit for 7 minutes to allow it to thicken. Turn the bottle upside down just before use. Check the temperature of the prepared milk on the wrist of your hand before giving it to the child (about 37 degrees C).
Preparation of the product in the case of feeding with milk formula
1. Wash your hands well, sterilize all the utensils used and make sure that the edge of the packaging is clean.
2. Prepare the milk formula according to the instructions indicated on its packaging. Boil the drinking water for preparing the milk formula for 5 minutes, then let it cool down to about 400C. Pour the amount of boiled and cooled water, required according to the dosage for one meal. Do not reuse boiled water. Dose the powder only with the measuring spoon included in the package, carefully leveled. Do not overpress the powder. Add the correct amount of milk formula to the water. Always strictly follow the dosage of the product. Adding an inappropriate number of measures can affect the child's health.
