Daddy's list before baby arrives
As a partner, you have your own birth to-do list. If you haven't done it yet, keep in mind that time flies. We recommend that you start as early as possible:
• Make sure your partner's hospital bag is ready at least two weeks before the due date. Click here for the full list.
PS: To prepare as well as possible for the birth, don't forget to include a few things for yourself, such as an extra shirt, a change of underwear, some hygiene products. Closer to the due date, make sure you have snacks and drinks for both of you ready to take with you.
• Read your partner's birth plan several times to familiarize yourself with all of her expectations and wishes. This will prepare both you and your partner for birth.
• Pay a visit to the hospital to know where to park and where to register.
• Learn two routes from home to the hospital to be prepared in case one of them is blocked.
• Prepare a list with the phone numbers of the people you will want to notify of the arrival of the little one in the world. On the big day, you certainly won't have time to think about such details.
• Also add the camcorder to the maternity bag along with the charger for it.
• Learn to install the child seat for the wonderful journey with your little one back home.
